TOEFL Overview

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test that measures the English language proficiency of the non-native English speakers who wish to enroll in an English speaking university.

Moreover, this test is accepted by various English-speaking academic and professional institutions all over the world. The test is given in English and is administered via the internet.

The TOEFL test lengths about 3 hours with 4 sections in total - Speaking and Writing, Listening, and Reading.

Speaking Overview

The TOEFL Writing section is designed to measure your ability to write in English in an academic setting, and you're expected to be able to present your ideas in a clear, well-organized manner. There are 2 writing tasks.

You'll type your responses on a computer keyboard. Responses are sent to ETS, where they are scored by a combination of AI scoring and certified human raters to ensure fairness and quality. You'll have 50 minutes to complete the Writing section.

What will I achieve?

On completion you will get an IELTS completion certificate. IELTS is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English, and was established in 1989. IELTS is one of the major English-language tests in the world.
